Archi noel Christmas 2026

Thanjavur – Revere and Revitalize Temple City’s Heritage for the Modern Era by Faculty Ar. Raghavendira and 2020 batch.

The spirit of our department’s celebration and the creative “Archi-Noël” brings the studio to life with recycled craft and student-led festivities.

Christmas tree competition conducted at SMVEC overall trophy winner 1st year students of our department with Treasurer and Joint Secretary Sir, with vibrant participation from students and faculty members. DESIGN CONCEPT Archi-Noël, highlights student creativity and sustainable design. Instead of a traditional tree, students built a modern centre piece using a conical frame draped in green fabric and decorated with horizontal LED lights. The display features recycled materials, including a reindeer crafted from cardboard modelling scraps. This event successfully blends architectural skills student-led games and eco-friendly decorations.

Our Archi-Noël celebration transforms the architecture department into a vibrant space where festive tradition meets sustainable design. Centred on eco-conscious creativity, the event features a unique recycled material tree crafted from a conical frame draped in dark, pleated studio fabric and illuminated by glowing LED bands.

Our students made design elements and selfie points and crib based  on red theme and painted the atrium to Christmas vibes.
