Competition award ceremony for design for pause pods for urban delivery riders and guest lecture by Ar.G.Selvakumar, SnG Architects.

The Design Pause Pod competition was conducted by the School of Architecture, Sri Manakula Vinayagar School of Architecture  Puducherry. The guest of honour and guest lecture by leading architect Ar.G.Selvakumar, Principal architect, Sng architects. The competition given aimed to design a mobile resting unit for urban food delivery riders, focusing on comfort, dignity, climatic responsiveness, and urban adaptability. The event was open to UG and PG students of Architecture and Design, encouraging innovative and socially responsive design solutions. The first and second prize winners are awarded of cash prize and all participants were certified.

Competition winners 1 ST PRIZE : SUMANTH & NIDHISHREE Ramaiah college of architecture, Bangalore won cash prize Rs.10,000 and awarded by Ar. S Velayudham,Joint Secretary, SMVEC along with Chief guest – Ar.Selvakumar and   Shri. D. Rajarajan Dhanasekaran, Treasurer.

Competition winners 1 ST PRIZE : SUMANTH & NIDHISHREE – Ramaiah college of architecture, Bangalore won cash prize Rs.10,000 and awarded a trophy. The winners have presented their sheets and ideas behind the design with a 3D PRINTED Model of the pause pod.
