In the Foundational Design Studio, students embark on a sensory journey to develop their design skills and creativity. Through hands-on activities and experiments, students engage their visual, tactile, and auditory senses to explore the fundamental principles of design, including visual awareness of colour theory, depth perception, and visual abstraction, tactile experience of texture, materiality, and haptic feedback, and spatial awareness of 3D space, volume, and anthropometry.
